HDI acquired this Santa Clara development site and carried it through the complete residential development process. The property was planned as a cohesive 14-home community of detached zero-lot-line residences, using compact homesites and efficient site planning to create single-family ownership within a private neighborhood setting. HDI completed the planning, entitlements, subdivision, site infrastructure, and ground-up construction of all 14 residences. Completed in 2008, the homes were offered in four floor plans ranging from approximately 1,900 to 2,140 square feet, with configurations offering up to four bedrooms, two and one-half to three bathrooms, attached garages, and private fenced yards. Interior finishes included hardwood flooring, slab-stone countertops, wood cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, high ceilings, and fireplaces. Following construction, HDI marketed and sold all 14 residences individually, completing the project as a full acquisition-to-disposition residential development.
