HDI acquired this approximately 12,000-square-foot lot in 2015 and carried the project from land acquisition through ground-up construction, marketing, and sale. Within an established Los Gatos neighborhood, HDI developed a custom Carmel Mission-style residence designed for both everyday living and entertaining. Completed in 2017, the two-story home offered approximately 3,600 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, three and one-half bathrooms, and an attached three-car garage. A limestone entry and custom circular iron staircase introduced the interior, while the kitchen and great room opened to a covered loggia and backyard. The floor plan also included two primary suites—including a ground-floor suite with direct patio access—along with an office, mudroom, laundry room, and wine storage. Following completion, HDI marketed and sold the finished residence in June 2017, completing the full development cycle from land acquisition through disposition.
